Our role:
proPartnerships is a Fiscal Intermediary (FI). As a Fiscal Intermediary, we assist you, the employer, in managing your self-directed support budget according to your approved plan.
- Complete all required tax forms and pay all taxes associated with your program to the Federal and State Governments.
- Process employee timesheets and mail employee paychecks/paystubs to you on a bi-weekly basis.
- Review and pay invoices associated with your approved budget.
Your role:
All persons receiving services from proPartnerships are legally considered sole proprietors, each having their own individual Employment Identification Numbers (EIN) provided to them by the Internal Revenue Service.
- Contact a plan writer. Set person-centered goals. Determine goods and service requests.
- Find, hire, fire, train, supervise, and schedule support staff.
- Determine the rate of pay for support staff. Submit signed timesheets following the payroll schedule.
- You can also choose to get services from a DDD/BHDDH agency or another agency that can help you meet your goals.
