The Arc of Northern Bristol County, Inc. serves over 1,200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in fourteen Massachusetts communities and throughout Rhode Island. The Arc provides services to individuals of all ages and support to the families of our individuals, in keeping with the traditions begun when The Arc was formed in 1959.
The results of our efforts – people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have gained many of the rights afforded from true citizenship. They work, they own homes and they contribute to the rich diversity of their communities. Our advocacy, research, services and outreach have played pivotal roles in these advances.
We meet with each individual and family to discover what types of support services and resources they may need to be successful. Together we design services to connect people with their community, discover and express their talents and abilities, and thrive.
